I'm a senior reporter at New Civil Engineer, write on a freelance basis for a range of publications including national newspapers, and provide services including strategic communications and public speaking.

At New Civil Engineer, I cover civil and defence nuclear, critical national infrastructure (CNI) and risks it faces from climate breakdown, cyber attacks and geopolitical conflict, Neom in Saudi Arabia, and the wider civils landscape.

On a freelance basis, I have written news covering LGBTQIA+, climate and environment, constitutional affairs, and conflict and defence tech, for publications including Private Eye, Resilience Media (Substack-based defence tech publication), The National (Scottish newspaper), The Canary UK, PinkNews, Trans Writes, Bricks magazine and Resurgence.
